SATO ENGINEERING has been awarded contract for the channelization of the Lower Awba Stream at the University of Ibadan. The project is to put an end to the perennial flooding along the axis of the Awba Stream from the source to the Dam. The scope involves establishing horizontal alignment and setting out as designed excavating trench using profile levels and making good the excavation to receive concrete. Reinforcement bars of different sizes are to be bent and placed in line with project working drawings and concrete works to form the shape specified for the Channelization works.
